I am repairing a laptop for a friend and got a compatible replacement screen from a reliable source. After I replaced the LCD panel and restarted the laptop, the screen would not display (had to use the FN key and LCD enable). Once the screen displayed, it showed 4 identical displays split on the screen as quadrants. I opened up the bios setup and the screen is not being recognized. I'm not sure if the bios is up to date or if the lcd panel is truly compatible.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
