Hi everyone,

I think there is a way to connect my firewire external HD that's formatted for my dead Mac and access the files on a windows machine. Does anyone know what software will help me?

Thanks!

Phil

I don't know of a Mac emulator... Prolly not many made...

Can you just try and hook it up to your computer and copy them? I think file directories and everything should show up...

Was the hard drive formatted when you bought it? Or did you format it?

Try using MacDrive if you don't have Alcohol120% or Daemon Tools installed, or use HFSExplorer.

MacDrive is the answer to your problems.

Enables windows machines to read and format Mac CDs, DVDs, and HDs that use the Mac HFS filing system.
