Well, I have a Toshiba Satellite M35-S359 laptop running Windows XP. Recently, the sound has stopped working. It cant play system sounds except for the little beep you hear whenever you press too many keys at once. I checked under device manager and everything seems to be working well. However, it lists the location of Audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers, Legacy Video Capture Devices, Media Control Devices, and Video Codecs as "Unknown". The SigmaTel driver isnt digitally signed. If any more information is needed I'll be more than happy to provide. Thanks for the help!
