I am trying to install a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX, but I am at the point where it is asking me to plug it in, so I plugged it in, and Windows comes up with the Found New Hardware wizard, but the Logitech install wizard doesn't seem to see it, it just says "Waiting for usb connection" or something like that. So I pressed "Skip" and restarted the computer, and still nothing. I am using QuickCam software v11.0 from the Logitech website, becuase I lost the original install CD.
What am I doing wrong?

I see v11.1 in my search above, maybe it will make a difference. What OS are you using?

Have you tried using a different USB port? Are you using the back panel USB? Sometimes hardware will suggest using the back panel over the front connections.

I tried all six USB ports, four on the back, and two on the front.

Do you know what kind of chipsets you have on your computer? I found this on the logitech site, it explains problems with your camera and certain chipsets.
