I have installed VMware Server. When I either boot from the live CD or install it on the virtual machine the Internet doesn't work. I have tried NAT, Bridged and Host-Only but I can't access the Internet.

I don't really like using VMware Server so is there another Virtual Machine Program that I can use? I have used a different 1 before but I can't remember what 1 it was!
Please can you help?

Thanks
deanpcmad

I use innotek's VirtualBox. XUbuntu works well on it. Very easy to use. (I've never used VMware)

Is this a wired or wireless connection??
Although is shouldn't really matter with bridged.

Have you installed any other OS and had a connection with them?

Also which version of VMware Server?

What is your host OS?

I haven't done Linux on it, but I've used VirtualBox several times for Windows emulation, it works quite well.
