Help
What I would like to do is use Windows Movie Maker to edit a DVD I have recorded from the TV which has been recorded on a DVD recorder. I have saved the DVD in its normal format onto my hard drive, but I am unable to covert it into a format WMM can understand. Currently it comes up as about 7 files (we broke it into 3 chapters on the DVD recorder) and these are .BUP and .IFO files
To be move precise I would like to take about 2 minutes of the DVD and discard the rest then upload the result to the web
1: Am I breaking the law? (In the UK)
2: Am I using the right software
Where should I turn next
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated

quite possibly, but that depends upon who you ask, are you hurting the copyright owner or helping them?
