I have a requirement to pull information straight from oen field in a table with all the data, then another that is to just select the last 3-digits of the same field and put it in a different output column.

For example if my fieldX contained AXX001-234, the other field needs to report just the 234.

Any way to do that with a SQL query?

/using MSSQL Server 2000
