msnmsgr.exe - Unable to locate Component

a red circle with a white x then this message: The application has failed to start because yui.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.

I've tried re-installing the application, however the problem still exist. I really would like to use my msn messenger. I use to get this same problem with a yahoo application. I only downloaded Yahoo again because I have Verizon Yahoo for my dsl service and i get to use the virus protection.

Have you uninstalled MSN Messenger and then reinstalled it instead of installing over the current?

if that doesn't work, you can try an all-in-one IM client... Like Miranda IM
