hehe well yea. My brother found PC TuneUp on here and told me all the brill things it does.
I searched but couldn't find a link anywhere on the site so I went to Download.com and came across a trail version.
However this version does not do what my brother promised me. For example, it lists the startup programs that there are (which I don't need), but my version won't allow me to delete these. He says the version found here allowed him to do just that.

So do you possess a link or file that is better than the 1.3.2.9 version I have?

I use Startup Control Panel, myself. It installs right into Windows Control Panel, and allows you to quickly and easily decide what you do and don't want to run at startup.

And it's free.

I feel msconfig is the best, even tho it is a part of Windows. Its straightforward, and I like how after you reboot with new settings, it automatically opens itself upon startup to allow you to continue optimizing the system. Oh also it gives a brief description of the Startup items.

If not that tho, you can use Spybot SD to do the same thing (you just need to enable the advanced options,
