My Windows Live Messenger How Do I ? How can I ste up scan my incomming files

Please assist me and direct me if you are able I have norton 360 on my computer and what i mneed to know is how can i ste this up to scan my incomming files fron contacts on my windows live messenger.
I tried to set it up but dont know what file to put in to scan my incomming files from Norton 360 what do i double click on to put in my file transfe box on messenger there are so many when u browse and open norton 360 can you help / direct me please Thanks in anticipation
