I don't know about 10.3 but I made a couple backups of my 10.4 Install DVD, and in both those backups AHT didn't show up when I tested them.
It won't hurt to try the CD. |

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I didn't get back to you! I broke my right hand so I'm kinda slow at typing. I was unable to check hardware with the CD's I have but I gave up and decided that if it didn't see the modem it probably isn't working. So I guess my best bet is to replace it. Not much experience with mac, alot with IBM. But thanks for your help. Susie1 |

WOW, it took 2 weeks to type your reply?!?!
Are you trying to test an external modem or the built in one? If it's an external modem then AHT won't test it. AHT only tests the hardware that's on a Mac.
