When I ran Combofix it took all my security software including Spybot, AVG, Adware, Superantivirus, HijackThis and CCleaner and quarentined them into the Qoobox Quarentine folder. The files were changed to .vir type files. I can no longer run these programs. Is there a way to undo or restore these programs? Do I have to delete these files now and install all over again? Will these uninstall in the quarentine folder?
What is the apparent problem with Combofix? I have read that it has been taken down from the various websites but with no further explanation.
Has anyone else seen this happen after having run Combofix?
