I can't figure out how to install pen drive linux from an iso cd.
Reading the instructions carefully, I get to the step where it asks type fdisk -1. It says it should come up and say which drive letter my pen drive is. I don't see it anywhere after typing this, and it comes up with some partition options. So I try typing in my pen drive being drive E, because it's always E when I'm using windows. After typing in the code with E as the drive it does nothing, and it seems like the linux program stops. All their is is a blinking cursor, and whatever I type does nothing.
So anyone ever used this or can give me some advice? Thanks!

I'm assuming your referring this set of instructions from PenDriveLinux.com
Your reading the command wrong it is not fdisk-1 it is
I realize my choice in codebox font is just as bad. so it's a lowercase L.
