We could give a try at finding the ram, but we need the make and model of the laptop.
The name says it all -- 59 and holding permanently

All i know of it is that it is a Toshiba Satellite laptop with a 1.1 ghz processor and 512mb of ram. The model number underneath does not register on the toshiba website for some reason, but its a PS183e according to the sticker. Is there any ram that is PC083? I looked on crucial for sdram but it brought up a minimum of pc100.

Download Everest and post the results if you can (It should list the type of RAM and the Make and Model of the laptop)

You can also go from this page to look up your drivers. Your other post: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/top...tml#entry597252 entitled VGA Drivers.
