Hi,
I have just moved from Missouri to Pennsylvania and changed my ISP from Mediacom to Comcast. I am trying to find out why I can't get my U S Robotics wireless router to work. It worked flawlessly when I was on Mediacom. Unfortunately, during the move, I have misplaced the instructions. I do remember that with Mediacom, I had to "register" the router with them. This is not the case with Comcast and they offered no assistance with the problem. I have tried resetting the modem and the router a couple of times but it didn't help. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

What type of connection is it? DSL or cable?

When you say you registered the router with them, did you have to enter information specific to the old isp? Were you using cable on the old isp as well?

"register" was the term their support used and they did it from their end. It was also a cable modem with Mediacom. I didn't have to do anything but the standard installation on my end.

The only thing I can suggest is to go onjto US Robotics website and look fore the manual of your model. I would reset it to factory defaults and then try it out.
