I just bought a the P-35 based bearlake gigabyte mother board and been haveing a unknown pci device at windows screen. I downloaded Unknown Devices and I am reciving three errors. 1. Logitech HID device 2. Logitech Pointing Device 3. PCI Device, ati tech. The HID is the z-5500 so no driver updates there, the mouse has current drivers as well, and the Ati card has the 7.8's. Just curious if its the motherboard that is fried.
I have a pc power and cooling 610 watt, 3 gbs ram, win xp service pack 2 all updated, intel conroe 6850 and two segates in raid 0.

The HID can't be the z-5500. A HID (Human Interface Device) is a type of USB device, usually a mouse or a keyboard or some such.
Have you updated the motherboard drivers?
