Well today I just opened up itunes wanting to listen to some music and no matter the music I hear this really bad sounding static kinda like clashing. Any idea of what it could be ?

Does it only happen in iTunes? If so, it's probably bad codecs for iTunes. Did this happen before? Is it on a specific music track or several related? Are these downloaded or ripped from CD?

Happens on all types of music. Only happens in Itunes. Tried other players works just fine.

You should probably do a clean reinstall, and if that doesn't work, do you have anything against using a different program to listen to music?

Well, from what you've told me, you don't need a new program to put stuff on your iPod because that works fine. You told me you need a new program to LISTEN to music on your PC. For that, I can recommend Windows Media Player (for Microsoft users).
