I already have lame-enc.dll installed on my computer and the encoding through audacity for mp3 works fine. However, when I tried to play the newly converted mp3 in windows media player, the song plays but there is no sound at all.
I checked audacity wiki but their solutions did not help. I hope someone can help me with this problem and thanks for your help. =]

It seems like I have solved my problem. =]
Turns out I was supposed to edit the ID3 tags to a more compatible format.
