Hey Guys,

I cannot seem to recall / find, which tag to use if I want the BBCode tags to be shown in a html document.
So to say:

[b]this should not be shown in bold[/b]

Any hint would be great. Cheers,

YoHi

Im not sure if i understand the question...

what is it you want the page to show?

[b]this should not be shown in bold[/b]

For this you can just put that in as normal, the tags here wont be changed, they will be displayed.

If its the tags you want displayed, then you use HTML Special Chars:
e.g:
<b>Not shown in bold<b>

<

being the spec. char for <.

Does that cover it? Like i say im not sure exactly what you were getting at...

EDIT: Testing stuff:
<

Theres the spec. char i was trying to get. Before it kept being converted to a <.

Heya,

I just wanted to have bbcode shown on a html page, without it being implemented. Additionally, I wanted it sort of indented.
I found the
and
tag, but they dont seem to work. So do I just use it w/o any tags and it works fine?

- edit -

Right I ended up using normal bb code with some html inbetween to have it look a bit neater and using the
for indenting.
Thanks for shaking the BSG around a bit to get his twisted mind on track
