Hi Guys,
I've returned once again to pick your collective brains.
I have a USB flash drive that i use to take files to and from work.
Recently i put it into my work PC and found it didnt go through the usual autorun options.
I opened the My Computer folder to find it wasnt listed in there either.
On the system tray, there is still the option to safely remove hardware and it recognises it as a USB mass storage device, but yet there is no availability to view the contents of the drive, add to them or remove from them.
Oddly enough it works fine on my laptop at home.
Anyone got any theories ??
Thanks in advance as always.

It shows in the system tray, does it also show in Device Manager? Since this is a work computer, I'm assuming you're allowed to do this?

Hi Guys, thanks for the advice.
John, you were correct, after some head scratching, it turned out to be the drive letter assigned ... on the work servers i have access to a dozen or so drives, so there was plenty of room for conflict.
I really should have a little more patience with these things before posting my queries, but its all go go go sometimes.
Thanks again for your help.
