Budapest's suggestion is probably better, because it is taylored to a MS product.

Apart from that, you might also want to check out an online conversion utility:
http://media-convert.com/
I'm not sure if there are filesize limits, but it's free and theres no software download required. Looks like theres about 13 video file formats to choose from.

I've used it for audio conversion and it works great.
