BleepingComputer.com: Sound Card Going Crazy Nuts?

Hello, Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I need help!

The computer was working fine up till yesterday

There is now no audio what so ever

I went to look in the control panel and it tells me there is no audio device

I then looked in my hardware, and there is an unknown device (Realtec audio something - which i am sure was my audio device before this happened)

I clicked on the unknown device and it tells me that it is Realtec but that it doesn't know the location or have a driver

I tried reloading the driver but everytime i do that, at the point of reload - the computer restarts

I then tried reloading the driver in safe mode.. that worked up till the point when i restarted the computer with the changes then at the Windows XP load screen it always restarts

I have no idea what is going on and any help will be much appreciated
