Everytime i go to a "New Message" or "Reply" i get the message "The Add in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\fxset32.dll" could not be loaded or installed.
Detect and repair from the help menu failed. Resinstalling failed. Is there any other way to stop this annoying message?
cheers.

Faxing isn't included in all the Vista versions. Which version do you have?

Vista Premium doesn't have fax capabilities. You'll have to look for that setting in Office 2003 and see if you can turn it off.
Edit.... type services.msc in run, press okay. Look for Fax and set it to disabled.

this other message has come up again
"An extention failed to initialize. Can't open file: extend.dat. The file may not exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program. Right-click the folder that contains the file, and then click Properties to check your permission for the folder."
Don't udnerstand that, just clicked to open Outlook 2003.

Ok, so i found that """"Goto Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options...>Add-In Manager...Uncheck Fax
Extension. Close all windows. """"" worked for me. The only other small little problem is that Outlook 2003 seems not to open as quick as it should nor does it diesplay and open a new message windows as quickly as it did on XP either, 2 GB ram should be more than enough. Publisher 2003 works like it did on XP.
