Internet Problems! Certain programs can't access internet

Programs on my computer can't obtain access to the internet (except internet explorer).
I tried to play silkroad and it doesn't work.
Already tried to unblock firewall.
Please help

Have you recently installed a new Firewall?
Is that the only program you can't access?
