When I create an Excel document and email it to another computer not running Vista they receive it as jibberish. How can I fix this.

Are you running Ofiice 2007? and you friend 2003? If so it wont work, if you want you can email me the file and I will ahve alook for you as I run both on diffent PCs.

Microsoft supplies a free Compatibility Pack for pre-2007 versions of Office programs and viewers (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to allow those programs and viewers to open (for programs and viewers) and save (for programs only, not viewers) files in the new file formats used by Office 2007.

If you don't want others to be "bothered" with installing the Compatibility Pack, another option is to use the Save As command in Office 2007 programs to save the files you want to email in the old (pre-Office 2007) file formats.
