I had one problem after the next, this is the latest vista just keeps freezing at random times, sometimes right after boot sometimes a hour later. I tried virus scan with avast and it had found nothing and i checked both hard drives and those were fine. Is there any other reason why its freezing up i really would not like to reinstall vista again. Thanks

freezing usually has to do with hardware. make sure you have correct and updated vista drivers and also check the heat out of ur cpu things like that you might want to run diagnostics on ur memory and maybe your harddrive
