I downloaded a movie and come to find out, it's in some format called "ymp.media". Nothing I have downloaded will play it, most don't even recognize its existence. So I naturally need something that can play it or convert it to something playable. Google search turned up nothing of value, but you're welcome to try. Thank you.
When I'm asking for help, please explain, in detail, every step. Thank you :).

Yes. And note: it should be a video file, not a music file like everyone else is saying about there's.

Weird. Now it changed and says its an "mp4 file" but nothing can play this either. I didn't do anything that I'm aware.

You could try and go here, click the dropdown arrow next to Format Conversion:, scroll down to MP4, and select a format you want to convert to.
Use the Search in: dropdown arrow to select All guides
Click the Search or List Guides button.
The results will be, links to articles on that particular conversion.
There are several formats to choose from, and many of them are done with freeware.

Don't know if it will work, but it's worth a shot.

No, but I did find this:

http://mp4cam2avi.sourceforge.net/

And it's freeware too. Works great . Thanks for posting everyone.
