For some reason, when I try to open the Firefox browser I cannot access it due to the error code as seen in screenshot. The only reason I can think of is that whilst downloading AVG free for Vista, there was an error in installation. I have uninstalled whatever bits of AVG that I could find. I have also uninstalled any new downloads but that does not seem to be the issue. Re-booting does not fix it. The OS is running pretty slowly.

Re-booting takes ages. I don't know if this is of any relevance, but in Task Manager, I have noticed that there are 88 processes running, CPU Usage is low 4% - 7% , and the Physical Memory is at 48% Is this memory high or average. Is any of this relevant.???

Is there a program that I could run to look at the diagnostics or whatever that might shed some light??
Could really do with some help.

Thanks all
