I have added a Gateway windows vista computer to a wireless network. The wireless router/hub is a LinkSys BEFW11s4. I can make the connection but the Router/Hub or the conputer will drop the connection in several min. The wireless connection is very slow. I have tried a wired connection and the computer speed is several times faster. Any help or point me in the right direction for some Vista/wireless information.

I upgraded the Linksys router/hub with updated firmware. This solved my connection problem.

I'm having similar problems with my recently purchased Dell laptop...mine's mainly a speed issue. Is wireless just that much slower? I mean, I have another 3 year old no-name (Cisnet) pc that runs 100X faster.!!! I'll be interested to see if we can get some solutions from your post.
