Is there any place that sells simple games, like Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, Scrabble Blast, Polar Bowler, etc., that you can just buy and download the game and be done with it?

I have had experience only with Wild Tangent and Real Arcade. Games from these companies want to connect to the Internet every time you play. Sure, I block the connection with my firewall, but are there any companies that just sell the games unmodified?

I would like to be able to purchase games that simply play, without first trying to open up some "game manager" (or whatever you call it) before the game starts.

A HUGE plus would be a company with a large selection of games that are for widescreen. It is not necessary to see this to understand my question, but if you are curious, you can see a previous thread of mine here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic100659.html

Widescreen is not necessary; it would just be a plus.

Thank you to all who take the time to reply.
