Saving As .dds Having problems

Sometimes whenever I try saving a image as a .dds file when the save pop-up comes up in Photoshop CS this is how it looks:

As you can see the save button can't be click on...

Legend has it that... If you put an AOL disc the opposite way and play it you can hear devilish music... Even worse if you put it the right way... IT INSTALLS AOL!

must admit I know zilch about the DDS format or it's save options, but what happens to the 'Save' button if you select a different radio button in the "Save Format" section of the dialogue box? Is "No Alpha (DXT1)" the option you want or simply the default?

The "save" button stays the same. But I've found out what was wrong. Apparently, the dimensions of image for X and Y both have to be multiples of 4.
