Can anybody recommend a good, simple to use video editor?.....preferably Freeware!
I have a number of video clips which I want to join, they are from the same movie and were split to upload to a host.
I've tried several times to join them without any success so far!......its driving me crazy!!

The video clips are Mpeg, but an editor/joiner that can handle both Mpeg and Avi would be great....
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated......

I haven't tried any of these, but a quick search turned up these:

Simple File Joiner 2.0
Kate's Video Joiner 2.8.4
Freesky video joiner 2.1
VB 001 Joiner 1.0.2

I there's nothing here that you can use, just go to softpedia.com, type video joiner into a search, and filter for freeware.

Generally speaking, you need the application that split the file to rejoin the splits.

I use VirtualDub which is free and joins AVI files with ease.

Go to download.com and find Kate's Video Joiner, Kate's Video Cutter, and Kate's Video Converter. All are new (beta?) and still free (not for long tho I think). They ALL are VERY easy to use...almost silly easy. Great results too...at least from my experience with them. I don't know how well they handle large jobs, but they sure work great for the cutting, joining and converting of the clips I play with.

Hope this helps.
