My M2N motherboard has an onboard sound.

However, when i maximise all my sound settings and listen to something, the sound volume is as if it were 20% of normal capacity.

Also, It seems that my right headphone is louder than my left headphone. I have double checked and it is connected properly.
What is wrong?

Could be an impedence miss-match with the speakers - check it with headphones on as well. Athough you have re-installed your motherboard drivers - might be worth checking the MB webside for updates or their forum
