I am getting pop ups at the bottom, bottom right and left side of my screen.  They just seem to pop up randomly and frequently.  Highly annoying.

Most likely these popups are the result of recently installed updates,  free program(s) or add-on(s) in either browsers or programs such as Skype.

Using Firefox or Google Chrome browsers with Adblock Plus add-on may block the ads.

The two programs linked below have success in finding and removing adware. Allow them to remove whatever they find.

AdwCleaner Download

Junkware Removal Tool Download

You should check your add-ons/ extensions in your browser(s) for unknown ones or that you have not intentionally installed.

Disable or attempt to uninstall them.

If the above doesn't solve your problem, post a new topic in the Am I Infected.........forum along with the scan results of the two programs.

Thank you, BC Advisor.  The two programs seemed to have solved the problem.  Sorry for using the wrong forum for this post.

Good...It would be a good idea to follow up with another scan. Use the one linked below. It's an online scan.

Allow it to remove whatever it finds. It compliments the two scans you have completed and often finds and removes

related files.

Free ESET Online Antivirus Scanner

Almost all free programs, etc. come bundled with adware today. Best to choose custom install when offered and watch

close for those offers you have to UNcheck to avoid the adware. Some freebies will foist the adware on you regardless.
