I  am really having a hard time with my computer. I hope you can help me. I have hunted on the internet for the problem I am having but cannot find out anything. I am frustrated. I am trying to fix the Isnfd device in non-plug and play drivers. I have 2014 AVG Internet Security, AVG PC Tune Up and AVG maintenance and this is the problem it is showing. It states "windows reports that the "Isnfd" device is not working." "Use Windows Update to check whether new device drivers are available.

Proceed as follows: Open Device Manager Search in the device manager for the device whose driver you would like to update and double-click on the device name. You may first have to enable the "Show hidden devices" entry in the "View" menu. Switch to the Driver tab, click Update driver and follow the instructions." When I went into Device Manager I found that the Isnfd indicates cannot find file specified. It is Startup Type: System.

Please help me if you can...my computer runs like crap.
I can't use Internet Explorer it runs awful. My computer is an HP Laptop

For the record...same post made at various websites, with no feedback at any that I looked at.

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic323892.html/page__p__1797792#entry1797792 , taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

I had the same issue.  Steps I took.
1.  Click on start button
2.  In the blank enter Device Manager
3.  Under View click on Show Hidden Devices
4.  Open up Non Plug and Play Devices
5.  Find isnfd
6.  Right click and choose uninstall
7.  Follow instructions
8.  Restart computer

The isnfd is not a windows file.  Unistalling it will fix the problem.  Did on mine anyway.
