I've noticed something called SySaver in my start menu, and I don't remember putting it there. I recently had a malware/adware problem which was cleared up, and I reread the entire post I made, but no evidence shows of being told to download SySaver.

Anyone have an idea? I've tried googling it, but what I find is confusing. There is an uninstall for it in the program.

Ahhhhhhh, I just found the website. It's a shopping app for Chrome. I don't use it, and think I should uninstall it. Correct?

Run AdwCleaner, it will take care of it.

This will run a scan and produce a log, open the log and click on Delete.

Can't I just uninstall it from the control panel?

If it is listed in the Uninstall a program you could take care of it there.  The AdwCleaner will find any other "surprises" which may have made its way onto your computer, just like Sysaver did.
