This program installed itself when I tried to download a movie player. It keeps popping up "scanning" for malware and prompting me to purchase full software. At the same time the MIXI DJ toolbar was installed, which I have managed to remove.

When I try to uninstall the Smart PC Booster 7, the computer freezes. I have run my antivirus (norton) which did not detect any threats. I have tried to download and run the additional Norton Power Eraser but get an initialisation error message and this programme cannot run.

Additionally I have tried to download and run DDS but each time this fails to install - I do not know if this is related to the issue or not.

Thanks for any help!
