* if you are getting this error then you have to delete last installed software.

I didn't see the message anymore when I turned on my computer today. I didn't do anything. I remembered that I just deleted the program that I recently installed before this problem came up.
Which program was it? Glad to hear you got it resolved.

One other person mentioned that they were able to resolve this error by reactivating windows. I have not been able to confirm that though.

I solved the problem. Firstly, I tried to used the bat file but it did not work and the error still appear. After that, I deleted the lastest programs which I had installed. And I have not been seeing the error anymore . thanks all !

I have this problem with my desktop window 8 when i start the computer, it bring this notification which say, "find string (QGREP) Utility has stopped working" and further explains "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". after clicking the close program it does show any thing but the system is suddenly stopping and signout of my account help to solve this problem quickly,thank you...............................

So far It seems this issue is caused by some third party startup programs or services. Try a clean boot isolation method to find the offending starup program or service which might be the real culprit. Following Microsoft article covers detailed step by step instructions.

i also have that problem ... but when i select close program it shuts down
