So last night I installed xbmcbuntu on my netbook. During setup it connected to the internet fine. After It installed I pulled up the xbmc interface and there was no internet connection. When I logged off and logged in to the desktop I was having issues connecting to my router. The only way I could do it was if I created a new connection and typed in the name of my router. But when I switched back to xbmc it had no connection. Is there something Im missing? My internet is password protected and I would prefer not to change it if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok I figured it out.  Turns out Comcast went down right when I started messing with the netbook.  Problem is resolved.
