Hi , I hope this is the right place for this question.
I have the new iTunes & have used it fine until yesterday - when I say 'fine' I mean 'reluctantly'.I can't work out how to send an attachment on here but underneath the menu bar it has headings for songs,albums,artists,genres & match but the playlist heading is missing. I downloaded an old version but when I installed it, it turned into the new version. !
Any ideas pls? maybe I'm missing something obvious?

Good morning barrythegeek and welcome to Sunday.
I'm also "enjoying" the new and improved iTunes 
which is clunky and unpleasant, IMO.
Have you tried going to the View menu, dropping down to Show Sidebar and selecting that?
Please let me know if that works.

Morning Winterland, I've tried that but no difference. I've looked through all the menus & preferences but nothing. Nightmare!

So you can see the window on the left with the Library heading, the Store and Shared but no Playlists heading?

I see store &share & the playlist heading. . What I think is missing is a playlist heading above the list of songs.I have found a way round it but i'm sure that before there was a button there before

Okay, if you've found a workaround then we're okay.
If it helps, when you select Hide Sidebar from the View menu, the Playlists button returns among your options above all your songs.
