Phone model is the Net10 LG L45C. I have had the phone for a couple of weeks when I noticed that 2 updates had failed. I believe now that the problem probably was my wifi dropping on and off and maybe during update signal was lost and failure. I turned wifi off and updates (I believe) are occurring via mobile data. My question is that when I noticed the failed updates, I went to phone settings...Settings>About Phone>Systems Update. That had 2 options..Auto check for updates (1. Box checked yes or ok) and (2. manually check for updates). I did a manual check for updates and naturally there were some and clicked the (ok update). Went fine and did updates. When I went back into the Setting>About Phone...the Systems Update option was gone. Called Net10 and 2 hours later with "TECH" nothing happened. I swear I knew more about the functions then them. They tried to convince me that the option did not exist. I referred them to page 252 of their manual. My daughter has the same phone (purchased 2 weeks before me) and the options is in hers. I have done searches until I'm almost blind. You would swear that the troubleshooting was top secret. Anyone that can break the troubleshoot code of secrecy I would appreciate some information.

Thanks mhoss49
