Hi,

Is it ok to uninstall an Agere System HDA Modem software which is taking up 16GB on a Compaq 610 Laptop running on Vista? I believe its only needed for dial-up. Is that right?

Thanks

That is a 56k modem for dialup, if you are not using a dialup connection there shouldn't be any reason not to remove it.
