The bad sectors may be a probllem, but not necessarily.

Let's run the chkdsk /r command...if you've run it before, sometimes once is not enough so please try it.

Hi
All my three computers use SSDs (Solid State Drive) for windows and Programs

The build I did for my Brother uses a SSD for Windows and Programs and a 1Tb for Data storage.

From now on all my Boot drives will be SSD.

Does that help answer the question, DO I like Solid State Drives?

I started with one and when I saw the speed increase I switched eveything else over.

Cheers
Roger

From what I've read Samsung and Intel for SSD drives. Any others read the user reviews.

I'm using those two brands myself. They seemed to have the best reliability, not the lowest price.

Good Luck
Roger
