Hi there,

I am unable to get rid of www.claro-search.com bar on the left of my Firefox browser.

I have tried following steps as per this link http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic472827.html but with no result.

Any advice is appreciated.

Remove the AdWare, PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) installed on your computer.

• Close all open programs and internet browsers.
• Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
• Click on Delete.
• Everything that was found will be deleted.
• Follow the prompts to reboot the computer. A text file will open after the restart.
• Please post the content of that log file with your next answer.
• You can find the log file at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt (n is a number)..

And claro-search also opens in Chrome browser as separate tab.

Go to the Chrome tools (the 3 vertical bar on the upper right corner) select Settings
Look under Start up.
Remove the item in the Set Pages function.

How do I remove it from Firefox? It is still there.

Do you have one named "Application Manager" disable it.

I think that the bad file is this .dll in bold.

Rename it mngr.dll.old

Restart the computer normally.
