Hello everyone, last night my computer started acting funny, I got an error in AVG Update Manager saying update failed so I uninstalled it (btw it was AVG 2012 Free Version). I then installed AVG 2013 Free Version w/30 free trial of the complete version, I installed last night. I had no problems after doing this last night. So a couple of hours ago I turned on the computer and everything worked fine, no issues starting up, I have no programs running and decide to shut the computer down when it froze during shut down so I did a reset by holding the power button for a few seconds.

I restarted and ran in safe mode with no problems so I decide to run an AVG Command Line Scanner and this is what came up after it finished running and logged the report.....

My Operating System is Windows Vista 64-Bit Service Pack 2
6gb RAM
600gb HD
A score of 4.0

That's all I remember off the top about the system info.

Also which is very important and I dunno why I just remembered it, last week I ran AVG and 12 Trojan infections were found and fixed, I didn't think any of this since it said they were fixed and removed or put in the vault on AVG, is it likely that there are other infections and my anti-virus just didn't find them?

I also have Malwarebytes and Spybot Search & Destroy on my PC. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am haveing a similar experience. Trojans were variants of Crypt_s.XX

Currently seeing affects like illegible text on Outlook, and Active Windows frame changed from original color to black.

Removed AVG 2012, and installed AVG 2013, running command line scan in Safe mode, and getting the Error 0xe0010053.

Any help is much appreciated.

Have run TM Housecall, and have run Spybot S&D scan and immunize.
