Hey I was looking into buying a new computer because my current one (POS) cannot handle diablo 3, I saw alienware was a good name but it's kind of pricey. Anybody have recommendations on a computer or what to look for on one?

What is your budget and what are you replacing?

Are you looking for a laptop or desktop model?

Budget is around $1000 to $1500, replacing a laptop my parents got me from walmart. Looking more towards a desktop if I can get one with my budget.

Also should I go for mac or pc? I get so many opinions from my friends on which is better, looking for more reasons why either one is more preferable.

PC is preferable if you want to play games like Diablo 3. Also with that budget, you can get a pretty high end system but do you need the peripherals like monitor, keyboard/mouse etc?
