It is my understanding that I only want one real-time virus protection software. I currently have Norton installed, and I am fine with it (I hope!)

It is also my understanding that I can use as many spyware/malware scan software that I wish. I would rather use one or two good ones regularly, than many infrequently. Any recommendations. I don't mind spending $25 for Malwarebytes Pro if it is better.

Thanks

Thank you quietman. Very informative. I will purchase Malwarebytes Pro. Do you think I should also use SUPERAntiSpyware?

I recommend using SUPERAntiSpyware Free as a separate stand-alone on-demand scanner. The free version does not provide real-time protection or scheduled scanning so there is no need for it to run at startup and waste system resources. This gives you another tool to use as a second opinion or in the event of malware infection where some of your tools may be disabled.
