When I go to Adjust Date/Time, in the Date and Time Properties there are two drop down menus above the calendar - one for the month and one for the year. The one for the year is OK but the one for the month is showing the number 7 and not the names of the month. If I click on the drop down menu, the number 7 is repeated and I cant adjust the date.

Any ideas please.

Well...why are you manually trying to change the date?

The date reflected on your Windows console...is actually taken from your BIOS clock. If your BIOS clock/date data is incorrect, it will cause problems within Windows.

I suggest that you enter the BIOS and check.

If the date/time are incorrect, it could indicate that your CMOS battery needs replacing.
