So, I have an interesting question here. Have a Mac Air with the keyboard that powers on via a normal keyboard button, rather than power metal button. Liquid was spilled on the keyboard. I'd like to back up the computer before getting it repaired, but the computer was shutdown. I know the computer DOES work, but it's the keyboard itself that is not working.

Any idea on how to power on this Mac Air without a working keyboard?

Try attaching a external USB keyboard.
