Super slow boot! :(

Hello there,
i just want to share what happen to my lappy..

My Os is Win7 Ultimate.

everything was fine and running good..
but suddenly my lappy became so slow to boot..

it takes 3 - 5 minutes to appear the animated Windows logo.. "Starting Windows 7"


and i notice that it appears 1 sec per animation..

i just dont know what happen, my antivirus and anti malware is always updated and i do regular scanning every week..

Another Symptoms:
Everytime i play mp3 using Windows Media Player, the song is very laggy or choppy..
And everytime i open My Computer or My Documents, i often got this error "Windows Explorer is not responding"

How long does it take if you boot to safe mode?

it took so long to boot in safe mode. :/
when i try to boot in safemode, the booting time is most likely the same as booting in normal mode..

Step 1. Post a snapshot with Speccy as this may give us a bit more to look at -
Publish a Snapshot using Speccy =<<Follow These Directions

Step 2. Please download MiniToolBox, Save it to your desktop and run it.
Checkmark the following boxes:
•Flush DNS
•Report IE Proxy Settings
•Reset IE Proxy Settings
•Report FF Proxy Settings
•Reset FF Proxy Settings
•List content of Hosts
•List IP configuration
•List last 10 Event Viewer log
•List Installed Programs
•List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
•List Minidump Files

Click Go and Copy / Paste the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved on the desktop after tool is run.
Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.

Step 3. Download Security Check from HERE, and Save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open shortly called checkup.txt; please Copy / Paste the text back here

If it takes a long time to boot to safe mode as well as regular mode it can be either malware or hardware. What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)? Have you run full scans with BOTH your anti virus app and MalwareBytes? If not, please do so now.

Also, let's check the hd. To run checkdisk, right-click on a command prompt icon and open as administrator. In the command prompt window type: chkdsk /r (then press ENTER). You'll be told the disk is in use and asked if you want to run checkdisk on the next boot. Say yes, exit the command prompt window, and reboot.

And the ram: To check the ram, download memtest (http://memtest.org/). Burn it to a cd using a dedicated .iso burning utility (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm), make sure the cd drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, then boot to the newly created cd and run the utility.

If it takes a long time to boot to safe mode as well as regular mode it can be either malware or hardware. What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)? Have you run full scans with BOTH your anti virus app and MalwareBytes? If not, please do so now.

Also, let's check the hd. To run checkdisk, right-click on a command prompt icon and open as administrator. In the command prompt window type: chkdsk /r (then press ENTER). You'll be told the disk is in use and asked if you want to run checkdisk on the next boot. Say yes, exit the command prompt window, and reboot.

And the ram: To check the ram, download memtest (http://memtest.org/). Burn it to a cd using a dedicated .iso burning utility (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm), make sure the cd drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, then boot to the newly created cd and run the utility.

You are apparently using multiple Registry Utilities (including Registry Mechanic and PC Tools). These products are known to cause all sorts of problems. Also, there seems to be a problem with Windows Registration.

1) Are you running a legally installed version of Windows 7?

2) Uninstall all registry utilities.

3) Boot to your Windows 7 DVD and run the Startup Repair options.
